Our room was huge and had a vaulted ceiling. Everything was clean & immaculate. The pool area was lovely & there were day beds which were great for a bit of shade. It was really peaceful and great for re energising. Breakfast was good Spa facilities. The animals - nesting Swallows, gecko's, cats etc If you venture to Taranto we recommend Barone

The location and the ambience of the hotel is very beautiful and calm. The rooms are very big, clean and the isolated very well. There were weddings at the time we stayed and we didn’t hear anything in the room. Also the pool area was very relaxing and you can always find a sunbed. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Taranto itself, a few miles distant, although a city full of interest in a lovely position on the sea, with a great museum and cathedral, is an industrial and naval centre and not primarily geared to cater for tourists.
